HCL Infosystems receives LoI from UIDAI regarding appointment of Managed Service Provider for UIDAI’s Central ID repository

Government of India, Planning Commission, Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has on March 30, 2012, issued a Letter of Intent (LOI) to HCL Infosystems Ltd. BR>As per the LOI, “HCL Infosystems Ltd’s bid has been rated as Best Evaluated Bid. The UIDAI, therefore, intends to award the work, for appointment as the Managed Service Provider (MSP) to Implement and Manage the Central ID Repository (CIDR) for UIDAI, to HCL Infosystems Ltd.” The HCL Infosystems Ltd stock closed the day at Rs.45.45, up by Rs.1.80 or 4.12%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.46.15 and low of Rs.43.70. The total traded quantity was 0.99 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.70 lakhs.
